New Keylogger trick

OK Guys,

Me and a few other guys I know have been added by someone called [email protected] and [email protected]

ALSO: Thanks too Methix0r for this. Another email apparently being used for this is [email protected].

Teh is A known ban evader, and Him and his "Accomplice" have been going around asking people too Mm a trade, also offering $10.

However, the trade is for a 'Private Server." What one of them is asking you too verify the server.

They give you a link, you click the link, A Keylogger is automatically placed on your computer.

This may seem basic, don't click links given too you from untrusted members, but just be careful

This idiot added me also.

It's not the link that infects you, it's the fact that the webpage embeds a Java applet and if you grant the applet permission to write to your file system then it downloads malware to your system. Never grant any applet permission to run if you don't fully trust the source (in other words, read the fucking security warning).

dont click links from strangers. even if they want you to verify a rs account go to runescape yourself. too many basement dwelling assholes trying to steal your video game shit these days...

I knew he was trying to do something. He sent me the page, I went on it and got a warning if I wanted to load the applet or not but I didn't, I just hope I'm not infected. =|

Yup RS Obsidian got banned with this. His Sythe+MSN got hacked and the hacker scammed an account.

They tried it with me. I denied the java applet though.

 

Teh_ and [email protected] are both part of hackforums.net, where they boast about their hacks. They also have multiple RAT's set-up and have botnets etc.

Just don't add them.

 

Teh_ added me on msn, tryed to ask for verify'ing server but i said why should i verify if i'm not Admin/Mod or whatever, than he left because i knew of him trying to keylog.

 

This happened to me, I let the java applet run but then Kaspersky 2010 found the backdoor and I immediately deleted, ran 5 full scans and like 20 quick scans.
