[denied] Fired staff badges

Should have fired staff badges and the reasoning listed so demoted/fired staff don’t have the trusting illusion of having a “retired staff” banner.

iirc not every demoted staff receive a retired staff funrank, depends on reason of demotion and length of time of staff.

 

No support, if they had an untrustworthy illusion they would also have been banned for scamming or something of that sort not just demoted.

I think the same argument can be said for staff members who leave after a few months. You didn’t retire you just did an internship.

It should be given out for how long you did the job but if you get the job taken away because of what you did, then the community should know why with a banner.

 

I like the thought, but no support, seems unnecessary. The occurrence of a staff member being "dishonorably discharged" is rare. Even more-so, one being "dishonorably dischard" for a reason that relates to honor and trustworthiness is stupid rare.

 

Say what now? No support. I agree with what @Bert said. Otherwise we should do the same for pardoned memvbers.

 

there’s an audit for pardoned members… you could search and see that information.

needs to be more transparency about fired staff if they get demoted to regular user. @video is literally the only staff member I know that’s been demoted.

The reasoning is not provided but I believe that’s because it’s not supposed to be provided to the public. In some cases people do decide to disclose the reasoning themselves in either the Discord server or somewhere on the forums.

 

Don't think this is needed at all because of everything the above users have mentioned.

 

Historically the rule was if you serve 3+ months as staff and were demoted (but not banned) you could apply for the ex-staff rank. If you were also banned at the same time then usually you wouldn't get anything.

For example, staff demoted for inactivity could have the rank as they still served their time to warrant the ex-staff rank but weren't kicked out for anything malicious.

If a specific user should / should not have it (in this case @video) then that's up to the admins in this case if it is deserved as it is an ex-admin rank which will carry quite a lot of trust.

 

Not necessary. There are already more than enough mechanics that can provide the wanted transparency (not advocating for it, but you're free to shit-talk someone on their wall, for instance).

 

I am not sure what more you're looking for other than what's posted in the feedback thread and this conclusion.
