I picked this yellow dandelion right out of my mom's garden last spring and is has been in a pot in my garage since. I consider it rare because dandelions are perennial plants, which means they only grow once a year.

It has minor broken leaves and such because the cats like to dig in the pot when they need to pee. Some of the flowers have turned brown too because the cat's pee is very acidic and nearly killed them once or twice.
