Not necessarily, look at lobster, it's been virtually unaffected by DEW, the trend line is basically unchanged.

Raw or cooked?

 

I believe they are dropping at the moment, with the new update. Food might drop in prices as it's probably going to be harder to die now.

However, I'm guessing raws should rise a bit before the event as people will be scrambaling to get resources. The recent drop was due to noob merchants or people who wanted a very short term investment

 

?? Plenty of members cook lobster, not everyone can afford shark...duh..
