Banned Users

I know another forum who has a list of users who are banned, and reason for banning.

I think it would help the community to know why a certain user was banned, for future references.

 

Been suggested, been denied. Pointless, waste of time, and.. not going to happen. If you want to know why a certain member was banned, PM a moderator and he might tell you why.

 

It's been denied because it's really none of your business.

 

I disagree just because it would take so much time.

BUT, I think it's bullshit how we can't know why certain people get banned. It's their dumb fault they get banned, we as users have a right to know why members get banned.

 

What would you use this for? Nothing.

 

The moderators had to beg Matthew to split the ban list into pages because it takes forever to load otherwise. There's no sense in trying to post the entire list in some thread.

Also, ban reasons aren't all that descriptive: a lot of the time, I ban users for evasion only after checking because of a scam report (in which case, ban evasion usually equals scamming). Similarly, just because the ban reason on a user is "hacked" doesn't mean they actually were: it's just an indication that the account was reported as hacked, and is pending an investigation.

For that, and many many more reasons, no.
