New Donation Options?

Hey guys, I know this topic has probably been thrown around a lot, but it really is a problem. Sythe wants donations, Sythe likes donations, Sythe lives on donations (Im talking figuratively). So why make it so hard to donate? I really d o not understand.

I think Sythe should have some other way of donating rather than just mail-in. I understand the paypal problem of people doing chargebacks.

Why not WU? You cant chargeback, and if its for the fact of having to run to WU everytime someone donates, theres one at almost every post office! Seriously guys, wheres the problem?

Even then, if you dont bite to that, just have a CC donation system. A lot of sites have it, RSbots.net has it, so why can't we?

This would really increase donations by a lot, and for what reason is it not here already? I have no idea.

I would donate in a heartbeat, if I had these options available to me, but im not mailing it in, as I have lost money before when just shipping across the Province to some relatives 500KM away. I do not trust the mailing system at all.

So come on guys, tell me what you think, and if im wrong here, feel free to correct me. Im up for criticism.

I want too Donate a little cash at the moment, but the only way I can is if I send Paypal cash too someone, and they send it in the mail.

 

We don't have WU because Matthew(Head of Donations) doesn't have time to deal with it, I believe. We don't have PayPal as an option for obvious reasons, though some people(TJ, Fatih) will take your PayPal money with a small fee and mail it into Sythe as a donation from you.

Mail isn't even that difficult..

 

You can send your money to TJ or Faith via PayPal and they will donate it for you (under your name). And if it is alright with everyone else, and approved by a mod (if needed), I can do it for you with giftcards.

The paypal directly to sythe is a problem due to chargebacks. WU is time consuming and other forms are just less popular and pointless.

Maybe have Moneybookers, I use that and would be happy to donate with it. I don't believe you can charge back, it's fast, easy and simple.
