In A Club, Which Genre Do You Prefer?

Usually, clubs will either play Hip-Hop/R&B music, sped up or laced with a different beat so people can dance to it or they'll play House/techno music. Which kind of club music do you like more?

I prefer house music when I'm drunk because... Well I don't really know why.. Probably because It's kind of trippy and I don't remember it the next day.

But when I'm just sober I prefer Hip-Hop/R&B. It gets you pumped and It's fun even if you're not dancing with 1 person.

Overall, the bass line in any music will make me dance if it's good.

I can't dance to hip hop so definitely the 2nd choice.

    I've never went to a club :(

I turned 18 in December so I will have to go sometime soon.

    But I don't like dancing.

If it isn't in the Techno family it doesn't belong in clubs. Techno/House/Electronica/Dubstep/etc. are all dancing and party styles of music.

Definitely Techno/House/Dance because it suits the atmosphere more. A couple of R&B songs here and there are okays but not flat out with them.

But in modern clubs, this is what they play. They do dance-punk on a special night. They don't even do that here in Albany.

Im from the US. Rarely in clubs do they play techno/house/dance unless the club is known for it. Mostly hiphop every where i go. I enjoy both though.

It's hard music for partying. That's why they play it. That's just the simple beat. DJ's lace is with easier stuff.. Like Calabria.

    Yes yes.

Rap music is HORRIBLE.. Can't do anything when they shout " YO YO NIGGAA!!!! HOMEY G! SMOKE THAT WEED NIGGA!"...

Note to Bring Me The Horizon...

Techno all the way, I can't dance to Rap because it doesn't have just one continuous bass hit. I love Techno just because its just one continuous hit.
