Server Suggestion

This is an idea that I've been having for awhile now. WoW private servers are way to complicated to run for some people because of not having wow.exe, the right patches, realmlist, and other things. How about if they were to make a WoW private server like a Runescape private server? Just have it in one client. I think it would spread the private servers out a lot more. Whoever makes this idea a reality first will probably have a booming server. Thanks for reading. Please comment.

 

No offense, but this is the world idea I've ever heard. My WoW folder + all my addons is 20GB; I don't know if you've ever uploaded/downloaded anything of that size yourself, but if this were to be implemented, it would actually eliminate servers and people who play them. What if you were to try a server and didn't like it? Oh, 20GB of bandwidth wasted and about 40 hours of downloading time.

I don't think you understood what I was saying. It would just take your wow file, and then compile it and start it up as a private server.
