MW2 - a con?

No, I'm not ranting about the game; in fact, I love the game. (I just lost the game).

I bought MW2 a day before Xmas and I've always thought it was a bit of a struggle to take the game out of the case. Now, after 2 months, my game is ruined; the inner circle is cracked like MAD. It's now unplayable, which I'm very annoyed about. ( I have the game on Xbox 360 btw).

Now, after searching the internet, it seems MANY people have had the same problem as me.

Do you know what I think? I think the people who actually made the cases and put the game in etc, actually made the cases like that on purpose, so that it eventually cracks the disc, then they can't get their money back because it takes quite a while for the game to actually break. THEN, they have to either buy another copy, or take it to Activision (somebody said they charge $20 to repair it). So basically, it's all a big scam to get them some easy cash.

Has any of your MW2 discs cracked on the inside of the disc?

Hmm. Do you have it on PS3 or X360?

 

My cousin complained about this problem as well =/ He had to send it back to Activision. His is a PS3 btw.

Okay, thanks. At least I know it's not just Xbox 360 cases destroying the discs.
I'm really pissed off. Our family doesn't have that much money, and MW2 was my main Xmas present. Ugh.

Okay. Do you store it in a separate container? Like a plastic sleeve thing? If you store it in the X360 case, can just please quickly go and check if there is any marks on the inner disk? On the underside of it. Cheers

 

I store it in the Xbox 360 case, it has no scratches on the inner disk at the bottom.

First post in months. Not had the time

 

mines still fine but ome of friends mw2 broke for xbox 360 so I don't think its a fluke that all of them are breaking

 

I've had it since the end of november and it's still working fine

 

Never happened to me, you just have to be careful with them I'n guess.
