    MM and Paypal

Hello, just a quick queston. How does a middleman work in a paypal trade? More specifically, how does he make sure any money sent from the buyer to paypal will not be chargedback? I want to sell a little gold soon, maybe an account, and just want to be safe.

If the trade would be PP for GP it would probably work along the lines of:

You give GP to MM, they get the PP money and gives it to the other person.

Not 100% sure though, never used a MM here >.>

I'll tell you how I middleman the trades.
    1. I get my fee. $3 or 10% if $30 or higher.
    2. I recieve the account information.
    3. I verify, change pass etc.
    4. Buyer sends the money to the seller.
    5. I give the account to the buyer after the seller verifies he got the money.
Note: If there are problems, I do ask for the paypal statement picture to verify.

It mainly comes down to an act of good faith. You must have faith that the buyer will not charge back as well as taking the necessary precautions. For instance, have him send it as money owed or as a gift, because it's harder to win a "fraudulent access" dispute over an item dispute.

What most MM's do is they have a MMing PayPal linked with a pre-paid card with $0, so there is no money to be lost if something goes astray, or they simply won't handle the money. This is done via, they get the virtual item (GP) off you, the buyer sends the money to you (PayPal), the MM moves the virtual item (GP) to the buyer. So technically, that's a MM without touching the PayPal.

How do make sure that the buyer wont chargeback the money, saw a week later? Do you have a way of verifying that they did a claim and cancel?

I think it depends what MM you are using. Some of them do it differently.
