When should I sell my easter egg?

Hello my fellow sythers.
I quit RS a few years ago and bought an easter egg to have for 9M. I've checked the price once in a while but it hasn't looked very good. But today I talked to a guy in school about RS and mentioned I had an easter and he was like "Wow, the easter is 76M" I was like lol no. But he insisted. So I looked it up in the grand exchange and got shocked, it was really 76M!
So now I'm asking you guys that still plays and know the system. How far do you expect it to raise? And how could it look in a year?

easter eggs have rapidly increased because of the fact people try to show them off and eating them by accident. MY opinion is that they will be around 120m feb. 18th 2011 at 3:15 est time XD

 

Of course I don't expect you guys to know the exact value of the item at an exact date. But perhaps you can make an estimate. For an example: The easter should have almost doubled it's value in 6 months. Or: The price is gonna crash after easter is over.

 

Keep it. They're essential for trading in w2. It won't crash, and only rise.

Keep it until it becomes worth enough money to satisfy you or until it starts to drop.

 

They are already worth around $40 + trade value on Sythe. If you dont plan on needing the 40 dollars anytime soon, I would simply keep it. In the past year alone, I think the value has doubled. Plus they go up the max percentage possible each GE update.

 

They will go up at a steady rate. Keep it until your happy with the return.

 

Like other have said, I've noticed that it will simply continue to rise. At an AMAZING rate. It and the pumpkin are like that because people accidently eat them!

 

Keep it, easter eggs will never crash they will only raise. I would sell it when it reaches 200M, and then not many people will have easter eggs so some people will offer PayPal cash too. Good luck .

Back when I played, everybody said that about Santas/phats/other rares. Sure enough, they crashed. I remember my santa lost half its value. This was probably 2007-2008.

I haven't played rs in ages so I don't know anymore though.

 

Do you need 80mil? Sorry I mean 300mil! If you can get 300mil in junk sell it for that. Other wise keep it.

 

Easter Eggs are well over 300m in world 2, provided you have the junk. It can also be used to trade for higher things, such as phats - which are well over grand exchange price, in 'the streets'. You could also sell it for trade price + $35, here on Sythe in "Item Exchange" under the RS black market.

 

now.. even if it goes up it will be really slow just like all othe rares.. years later they are still rising but they only rise like once a year so the wait is not worth it

 

They will keep rising IMO. But Jagex is planning to fix all inflations on most items. If you read the Q&A's

 

I don't think they'll stop dramatically rising for at least 2 weeks. Either sell it now on sythe 76.6M + around $40 or wait for it to rise a bit more.

Sell it now if 76m satisfies you. Or if you want an epic amount of cash then get junk sell it for 300m/ a phat.
