An "I Support Button"

After seeing the accepted thread stating 'You can't simply say "I Support" anymore', I was wondering whether it would be possible too implement an "I Support Button."

What would this button do? After clicking it, under the post, a list of all players who support this post will be there.

Example:
"Brendan W, Sin666, Skele_Master & Sythe support this Post."

It's not a half bad idea I suppose. Could you possibly create what you think the button would look like?

Poll option 1: Yes
Poll option 2: No

No need for it, just use a poll.

 

Problem solved. Good point, kinda crossed my mind, Polls work just as well.

 

Never even considered that. It's a good idea yeah.

The support button would just have a thumbs up sign on it, Or something like that.

 

A poll would do it, but an "I support" button isn't entirely pointless. Not sure how the programming would work though.

Yeah, it would be like facebook. Sounds like a good idea to me.

 

It's not going to make a difference how many people agree with you - if your suggestion is bad, we're going to deny it no matter what the numbers are. What we care about is the reasoning, for and against. Even polls are annoying, and on most issues, I ignore them: it's just not what's important.

That said, useless buttons are fun. It will probably never be added, and there's certainly no reason to rush to add it, but if there is ever a large mod update, it's the sort of thing that may be tossed on the end.
