So what about morphine and xanaxx? Some opiates are perscribed. We aren't talking about abusing drugs, we are talking about utilizing them. Shrooms aren't that bad

If you truly felt better with your symptoms, good for you. I know how hard sometimes OCD victims must go through and I have heard stories. I feel extremely lucky that I don't have those tendencies. Good wishes to you and may you do well with your new life.

Exactly. It saddens me that so many OCD patients have to go throughout life when a fully formed cure is out there - and so easy to access.

Thank you sir. I am definitly feeling alot happier, and I still love sports, jones sodas, and the other things I loved - I'm just not obsessed with them.

If you do experiment with shrooms and you're not used to it, maybe sure you keep it under control.

I have a friend who has done it WAY too many times, and sometimes he can't tell the difference from reality and the trip.

Also it costs quite a bit, well at least where I'm from its $30/trip if you don't have hook-ups.

    Simple explanations are:
    1. IQ went up (improbably high) because you took the test twice. There is supposed to be a considerable delay between tests, and the tests need to be reconfigured so memory of the previous doesn't interfere with taking of the second.

    2. As per a study on the effects of mushrooms: "One-third of the participants reported that the experience was the single most spiritually significant moment of their lives and more than two-thirds reported it was among the top five most spiritually significant experiences. Two months after the study, 79 percent of the participants reported increased well-being or satisfaction; friends, relatives, and associates confirmed this."

My guess would be that it relieves anxiety caused by your environment (in particular people you live with and interact with day to day), which reduces your compulsive tendencies. But then Valium would do this too. What would be better for your health would be to change your environment, instead of needlessly frying your brain on psychotropics.

Your saying he should do Valium instead of Shrooms? Fuck that...I know too many people that are hooked on scripts.

I don't really have an environment though. I go to work, go home, and get high with my roommates. I was never stressed out, I just kept my thoughts in my head and "zoned out" to what went on around me - because it didn't matter. As for my IQ going up, your probably exactly right I never even thought about that. I really appreciate your feedback. How should I change my environment?

147 isn't genius IQ, it's only 1/604. A genius IQ would be more like 180+. Anyways I agree with Sythe my IQ probably only went up because I took the same test twice. I could even remember some of the questions and went through the test a lot faster than I normally would have (I'm not sure if this is the reason why but it's a possible explanation, definitely), the Albertan government probably haven't changed the test since I took it when I was 13.

Where I'm from they are the same price as weed - though you can get alot better deals in bulk. Where I'm from an oz is 120, 1/2 oz is 90, quarter is 70 - rest is gram by gram. Minimum you should take if you want to get high is about 3 grams, but for a nice trip your going to want 5-8.

I can tell from this that you've never taken mushrooms. Don't make things up about stuff you have no experience in.

Your IQ can't go up alot by age, with the exception of maybe 2-3, you've already missed your prime of getting "smarter". Don't forget in the IQ formula, two ages (chronological, and something else) are a factor.

Theres really not much known about salvia, but I wonder if it can possitively effect OCD. I have had it before, but not enough to get very high, or hallucinate.

Salvia is pretty basic. Broken into five levels, it's legal in California if you're 18. But I know that levels 3-5 make you hallucinate, the others just get you on a good solid laugh for about 5 minutes. Either way it lasts like 5 minutes, sometimes 10.

I've done Salvia like 3 times.

    Same, I've experimented with Salvia.
It's a decent trip, only lasts for like 5 minutes which is good in my opinion.
And the 30 minutes following thereafter is pretty sweet, a sense of calmness and peace.

    Psilocybin mushrooms cure OCD!

There is a deciding factor between most human minds. By that I mean those same people who understand how tainted ("brainwashed") the human mind has become from this society we live in. Usually the few of us who see things for what they are - or as close as our minds can take us... are either fascinated with the truth or rebellers of social norms. I am both. Since our society is looking for answers in all the wrong places - we try to label people with disorders, which are usually just a way of thinking against the "normal" state of mind.

Ever since my mushroom trip a few days ago, I have permanently removed the want to be in the "norm", or society - which is the only known fact you will find on the internet against the use of mushrooms (HPPD is not a vietnam-style flashback... it's a moment where you come to clarity with a memory in time, perfectly - which humans are supposed to be able to do). My best friend also had OCD, and tried mushrooms and has found the same happiness - which is why I have created this thread. Something in psilocybin triggers our brain to think naturally, and because it has been labeled as an unimportant, street drug, that alters your mind in an unnatural way. In this way, Sythe my friend, you are still brainwashed - and I urge you to at least consider researching this matter. Some people say to think outside the box, this drug will remove your box. I have tried multiple other drugs (I've spent the last 2 months in a curiosity phase, trying out drugs for curiosity reasons), and would never suggest them to anyone. They are dangerous, and not special. Mushrooms are a different thing. They could help the world out so much. For example, Technology is not a bad thing, it's just in the hands of those who have not fully developed this "human" concept. If the research for the effects of psilocybin on the human brain was furthered - and a herbal version was brought into society... the exponential line of human advancement in technology, communication, resources, world peace - would grow to abnormal proportions. This steep line in the exponential factor of human advancement would probably reach further than the point where humans were given the ability to communicate (whither through god, evolution, or both). This point is where we will soon reach knowledge of all things - or god. I'm agnostic by the way :p.
