Question

Hi, I've seen many people post that Jagex cannot see this website, and that its safe to post usernames etc.
Normaly, I would dismiss this as BS, as I cannot figure out how on earth thats possible, but all accounts sold via account shops would pretty much result in instant bans, right?

So if any of you can verify if Jagex can/not read these forums; and how the HELL that whole thing works, I would be grateful. =]

 

By entering these forums, you must agree that you are not in fact a member of Jagex or have anything to do with it. So, they can't just ban your account because they would have to come on here to see it's being sold, but they are not allowed.

Or something like that.

 

Doesn't mean they don't. You aren't allowed to ban evade, but people do. I honestly doubt they come here. They have enough issues internally within the game to deal with rather than finding individual account traders.

Just don't go bragging on RuneScape that your sell accounts at www.Sythe.org!

Agree with Feren, they can just lie. Some might go on this site, but I don't really care.

 

Hm I don't think they will come here, but if they do, I doubt they will ban you.
For example, you could say your selling zezima (or w.e the first player is), but they wouldn't ban zezima.
Well I guess they could, but doubtfully.

 

You can show your username all day long. Just don't put your Sythe name anywhere on the actual RuneScape screen when you're taking a screenshot.

 

You cannot be caught or punished for anything IN GAME as long as you don't post any user names of your Runescape accounts on here.

As long as they can't attach your Sythe account to your Runescape account(s), don't worry.

I don't understand, you can't just keep one group of people out of a site. What if I was black and I went to a site that said "[ ] are you black?" and if I put X i wouldn't be allowed. I mean is it allowed to just tell them there not allowed?

Fools, it's highly unlikely you will ever get banned from Runescape for posting your account on here. Jagex are not idiots, they are aware that people phise, hack, scam etc and will gain access to other peoples accounts, therefore even a screenshot showing username + stats does not automatically mean you are the owner of the account in question.

 

Yeah, but they could figure out more if you verify in-game.

 

No, your retard. You can keylog somebody, access their account, and run around the whole of RS shouting a Sythe username. Therefore, no screenshot, even with a Sythe username in the picture, will prove that you are the owner of the account. Don't disagree with me, I'm right, end of.

 

Honestly I don't know why it says that. I know for damn sure Jagex can use some loop hole, simply saying "Jagex is not allowed" really means nothing.
