Well I don't play RS much nowadays, but my main (well, sorta a dfs pure) has 38 million ranged xp and I always couldn't stand doing something like iron knives or bone bolts, so here is my favorite idea:

    Code:
Green Dragons -> Money on Chins.

With the increasing prices of d bones you could easily make 400-500k+ an hour and buy those chins. Way faster than using knives or bone bolts.

Lets just say, 400k / hr.

Ok, 80k spent on Misc. stuff like P pots, range pots, etc. Worst case. 320k remaining; = 475 Chins bought at 673ea (Current price of posting)
Average xp / chin @ 150 at lower ranged lvls.
    = 71.3k ranged xp.
Takes ya like, 30 mins total- 25 mins to shoot, 5 mins to slip on gear and run to Ape Atoll or even less to Chaos Tunnels.
    30mins + 1hr green drag = 1 1/2 hr

= 47.6k ranged xp an hour. More if you're good at Fast Green Drag killing.
I think that is twice as fast as throwing knives. and not as boring at least.

Just my thought. If you can catch the chins, even better. Only would be faster though if you're 80+ hunt. For me, I got my ranged via slayer. I never chinned. But still, in no point in my ranged journey I used bone bolts. Tbh, didn't even know what they were; I got my ranged up before there was that weird white crossbow you fire them with.

That's a good logic you have there. That's actually a very good logic you have there.

It is a good way to raise your range that way and get money to buy chins. Basically combining Green Dragon Killing with Chins at Ape Atoll to increase the maximum amount of range gained. This would be the way that people could use IF they didn't have money to go straight to chin. This would be the ideal way if someone didn't have money.

Hah, you suggested this on my thread, and thanks.

I'm going to try this method out and see how well it goes.

I did this from 93 - 99 range. However instead of just green dragons i did avies. (as I always seemed to get good loot from there lv3 's).

Great way to train however if you probally no lifed at yaks for same amount of time you probally be equal in the xp level.

10 hrs at green dragons= 5 mil worth of loot (95krange xp) 2mil per hour at monkeys so about 495k xp

    10 hrs at yaks = 600k xp

But thats my math and for the monkeys i was doing when chins were more expensive.

+24k exp from green drags, approd 95k for 1.5 hours

    60k/hour

Yeah that's my philosophy. Make money, then spend it to actually get your times worth.

Ah I was strapped for gp for red chins so I had tried Barrows for cash but this way seems so much more effective. Only issue is Green Dragons are always swarming with bots so its hard to get kills fast.
