If Jagex brought back the old 317 runescape would you give up present day runescape?

Rofl. Have you ever seen advertisement for RSPS that are like "PKScape 317" etc? It's the version of Runescape. Like after each update, a new version. We're at like 500 something now I think.

For sure. I wouldn't miss anything other than some of the graphical updates, and maybe some updates that made ease of access a little better (i.e. searching your bank etc)

 

Yeah i would miss that too but i would give it up for pking and trading.

 

I would give up current runescape, if they enabled you to tranfer over stats + items.

 

317 is only about 2 years ago in early to mid 2007. The one 4 years ago was equivalent to the one Silabsoft made.

I've been molded from the actually doing work runescape play to the soft jelly blob of a runescape player the newbies are being made into today.

No right click teleports on jewellery, no slop leveling runecrafting, etc.

 

Yes. Though, I'd miss some stuff. Soul Wars, bank searches, new herblore potions, etc.

I'm satisfied with the current runescape, and although I dearly miss the past, I could not play without it being the current way.

 

I would start playing again since i quit back when they removed wilderness, put some shitty trade limit on etc, haha

I went to check current RS, i think people would still play, it would be more easier to make pures, trade, have fun imo...

You really don't have to go back that far, before they fucked pc, duel arena, GE, pking, party petes, ect. I'd be happy to settle with.

Yes. Back before the trade limit, before they introduced overpowered weapons, back when scamming and luring was a problem. You could make tons of money on any character. I loved those days.

 

Of course i would. I miss pking and merchanting. I always sucked some dick at pking, but merchanting. I remember i think i was merchanting dragon plateskirts and was really close to getting a d-wc axe, and i got killed cuz my comp lagged. Haha i also remember some signature people had like 12-12-12, i can't remember the correct date, the day runescape died. The mass riots on runescape that didn't do jack. I think if you wanna change something then you'll have to riot outside of runescape.
