Make a new rule.

This pisses me off, and happens on almost EVERY thread that has something wrong with it.

Example thread:

75% of these posts are nothing but saying the same god damn thing.


Make a new rule against this.

Call it "2 cent posting"

 

Everyone is entitled to their own free speech. The fact that people reached out to aid this kid because he got scammed shouldn't be a problem. If it were you i don't think you would've reacted this way?..

Partly true, but before they posted anything, they should have checked if someone had already posted what they where going to say.

 

That's what I am saying, and half of them even acknowledge "Yep, you gotta..."

Now, I could certainly see 1 other person posting it. But when it's 2 or 3 more people, it's just "Hello, we get the idea, thanks"

Yeah their entitled to their free speech, but if something has already been answered/solved, the same thing doesn't need to be posted. Except for debates, then everyone talking there should be saying what they think. But for things concerning

Wrong section, Not understandable, someone having a problem, etc,

People shouldn't be posting the same thing. if its already been posted your just repeating what someone else said, wich is completely useless. I think one post would be enough unless their stupid enough to only read something in mass posts, if that were the case, then their problem must not be as big as they made it out to be, as their not reading all the posts people put on to find a solution.

But i'm too lazy to say something about other worthless posts, so i'll leave that to your imagination.

+1. Not everythings about post count, some people don't seem to get it though :/

 

^In many sections there is already a rule to not repost what others have said... Such as when the thread poster asks a question of some sort... Mods already can infract for that if they want.

If they actually thought, they'd realize it's spam. But they don't care, and only want post count.

Yeah it's not too bothersome. Neither are people who change text to get noticed.
