=O Halo Movie?

So I have been hearing all this crap all over the Interweb about a Halo Movie and how there isn't one yet!!! I know!! Why the hell havn't they made one yet? Gamers and non-gamers alike would love a major cinema based on Halo.
So, I want to know what the people of sythe think about a Halo movie.

If you voted for a Halo movie, please post who you would want to play as the main characters. =)

 

I heard there was a modern warfare film aswell, i think there all rumours. A quick google search will tell us.

 

A Halo movie would be just like all action/alien invasion movies... crappy.

 

I would rather see a movie with a good plotline be made. Something like... Assassin's Creed. The first game ends, in which would make a GREAT sequel.

 

Master Chief and all the main characters died in Halo 3.

 

He doesn't die, the final cutscene after all the credits shows him in the remaining half of Forward into Dawn. He goes into a cyrogenic state.

but anyways, i don't think they should make a halo movie, just keep making more games.

 

Why would I want a Halo movie to come out if the plotline of the entire series is simply boring? It'd be painful to watch.

How ironic.I'm not much of a sci-fi kind of person so I would rather watch modern warfare if it becomes a film.

 

Halo has very little plot. Now when you put something like Hitman as a movie, when does have a LOT of plot, and DOESN'T have Uwe Boll directing it, then there is a good movie.

 

Left 4 Dead 2 film would be better.

District 9 was originally going to be the Halo movie. When the movie comes out everyone is going to see it whether it's good or not is uncertain.

 

They have literally been talking about the Halo Movie for YEARS. Supposedly Peter Jackson, director of Lord of the Rings and King Kong, Was going to be one of the Executive Producers of the Halo Movie.

Here is some other info I looked up.. See its release was going to be 2008. This was before production even BEGAN. So the info I got this from started in 2005!

Lol, the people in this thread saying Halo has no plot most likely have not read any of the books. They're all great books aside from Contact Harvest imo.

They're supposed to be making "The Fall of Reach" into a movie in the next few years which is going to be pretty awesome.. best book in the series imo.

 

A Halo movie would be really stupid, but then again I also heard that they are making a World of Warcraft movie...
