Gamertag help(XBOX 360)

Okay, when I got my xbox, I made a stupidly named tag, put my real email address on it.
I then created a new tag a few months later, but I used a fake email address.
I want to go on MSN on my xbox now, but I don't want to re-add the people I wanna talk to on my fake msn, anyway I can switch email addresses?

 

Microsoft states that the linking is permanent and they no longer allow people to switch the emails linked to their xbox live accounts.

I would definitely contact support though, you never know.

It's actually fairly simple. >.>

Go on the account that has your real e-mail, the one you want to use. Go to your xbox guide, profile, account management, windows live ID. When you're there, just change it to something stupid. Repeat process on your other account, except change it to your real e-mail. Problem SoLveD.

 

Figured it out last night, only reason I asked, when I googled most of the sites said I couldn't. :c

 

I stand corrected. Noodles, can you please reply with the exact method you used so others can look at this for future reference?

Problem - Get email address from one xbox live account to another.

Solution:

You have Account "A' - which has email "A' attached to it

You have Account "B" - which has email "B" attached to it

We want email "B" to be on Account "A"

Switch accounts "B" attached email from "B" to something random like email "C"

This releases email "B" completely.

Go to Account "A' and switch email "A' to email "B"


Done.
