Sectionals Report a Spammer suggestion.

Instead of everyone doing reports when they feel like it, I think each sectional and their partner should have there own RaS section.

Example: In the runescape 2 general section if a member reports someone else for spamming only me and tribal will get to see this and only us to clean up, this way each sectional has there own RaS for their own section.

 

Sounds good, major benefit is that I can't do much about a thread with say a trojan link in it in any section but offtopic.

So if i were only dealing with offtopic I could get rid of the link

 

That is a decent idea.

although, kinda like Tyro said but some mods from that section might not do RaS reports. :/

 

This idea has come up on various sites I have been a part of and has been shot down every time.

What happens when mods go on vacation?

Letting mods kind of per say roam around is a much easier way to keep clutter down.

 

It also allows them to interact with people outside of their own "section."

It's a community, we shouldn't be dividing it up.

 

It actually is a good idea.

Regardless of if most are from the market, we have more market mods then any other section. If the mods actually did their job, the market RaS wouldn't be that bad. And what Jcash said.

 

I think I'd prefer it more to remain where it's at and instead have something like "Reported post by R33l2r3al: User Education". This would signify which section it's in without having to create multiple report a spammer sections around the forum. That is to say, I would prefer this if there were any kind of reform to it. I'm fine with it the way it is.

I agree with Tyro, some sections get alot more reports than others.

No support. I think it's fine the way it is, no need to complicate things.

 

The suggestion is to organize things not to compicate them.

 

I still maintain that my suggestion will create more order than a bunch of report a spammer forums for each section.
