    Should I accept stolen gifts?

There's no reason not to, if they're already stolen why not? What else'll happen other then the friends selling the gear for their own profit.

I wouldn't take stolen gifts, you would get in just as much trouble as they do, and knowing they are stolen, even worse consequences.

Yeah, they risked getting caught for you... It's kind of them to do so.

    Should I accept stolen gifts?

You Don't know 100% if it's stolen, therefore you should accept them. If they do come to be stolen and someone comes to you saying, hey that's a stolen item. Then you give that person up who gave it to you, so you don't face charges.
