Come on people, get with the times. On average an adolescent male loses his virginity around the age of 16 nowadays.
I lost my V-Card at 16, my parents both had premarital sex to conceive me, everyone I know has sex on a frequent basis.

I personally think there is nothing wrong with premarital sex, just like I believe nothing is wrong with homosexuality / being bicurious / anything 'questionable'. I was raised to be a very open-minded person.

 

Pre-marital sex, I believe to be very important. If you and your partner turn out to be horrible in bed together, I have seen relationships go south, very quick, even leading to divorce. Or worse, one of the partners ends up cheating.

 

Imagine you get married and sex is bad? What then ? divorce ^_^ ?

I think it is completely pointless to demonise premarital sex as the act in itself is really harmless. You have to ask yourself why sex is a sin before marriage and after it it isn't. I think that marriage does show a union of two people and sex is a way of showing that union but I don't think that is sex's only purpose. It can be used for pleasure, is this wrong to use it for pleasure? I don't think so, I am willing to bet you have masturbated before which isn't a sin....

You couldn't tell us why it was right, though. Sex before marriage is a subjective, moral decision/view. To come to a thread and post as though it's not is simply ignorant. Such things make your points null and void, being that they are irrational, illogical, and therefore, invalid.

It isn't a sin to have sex before marriage in any religion. If you were raised as a avid catholic you would know that it becomes a sin when the sex becomes a form of control, generally this is for the women, sex to get what you want so on so forth, it isn't a sin to have sex in general though.

It's something your parents told you so you wouldn't get a broad pregnant and have to take care of it all day.

OT: It's wrong because it's lust. Sex was made between a married couple to be sacred, not a one night stand, not to be shared with 2, 3, 4, 5, 20 women. Sex was created to produce offspring. Yes it was also intended to be pleasureful but that wasn't the main purpose, obviously.

I think it would be unwise to get married without having sex first. Sex is a big part of a relationship. If you got married and then found out you didn't meet eachother's sexual expectations, then you're stuck.

If it is consensual then go right ahead,but no one should be forced. I also don't think its any of my buisness to tell someone they can't have sex b4 marriage..i personally find the 'marital' aspect of sex irrelevant and should be done with a person who you really like[just what i think]

If you don't, then do it, if that is what you want to do.
