Why do some people stereotype ALL muslims as terrorists?

why do you [if you do] stereotype muslims as terrorists or if you don't why do you think people stereotype them all as terrorists?

 

they dont, its mostly arab muslims but this is pretty offensive to me i wont lie, im probably the chillest person youll meet but this shit is fucked up

The same reason some people stereotype all blacks as thieves, or asians as a smart.

 

People are really gullible we earned this with Adam and Eve, the Jews( like a race should be treated that harshly for stealing gold... which by the way they didn't.), slaves, George Bush, and a lot of other things. Basically we are just really gullible.

Most of people stereotyping Muslims as being terrorists is simply in the form of racist jokes etc.
Sure, there are SOME people who actually believe that all Muslims are suicide bombers, but anyone who believes that was probably brought up by their parents to believe that because of racist jokes being made and the like.

 

Humans are inherently racist and xenophobic, and a hatred of muslims has been instilled by the former US government and the church.

 

Racist jokes, racial comments, heard when growing up, ect.
