    Why is everyone buying and selling these? I see people offering green phat plus 5 mints for a blue and I really dont get it. I would post this in spam but they are all retarded. Someone explain please lol.

    It's really hard to get is why.

    You can get it once during a quest called Path of Glouphrie or something like that. Has to do something with Glouphrie and some chrystal chimes.

    And you can get it off Gianni's mini-game but again is rare.

    so its only worth 20k or so in the GE... why are they in such high demand if they are so cheap?

    Mint cake, low value. Hard to get = wanted item = EXTREME raising price. Therefore a wanted item.
    Also people now stake minted cakes, as they have a junk value. etc.

    It's DUMB! I see people selling them for 2m+, and you can apparently get 1 from an easy quest. Hopefully people come to their senses soon.

    I see it as just a fad. The demand for this item as "junk" will die out soon enough.

    I got a Mint cake from teh quest, i'm thinking of getting enough crap (javelins) from drops and selling it like that

    The reason they're so expensive is because you can only get 1 PER ACCOUNT from a quest "the path of glorphie" after you get that 1, you can't get anymore besides doing the gnome cooking minigame which takes hours and isn't worth the time.

    Simple as that, hope I answered your question.
