I prefer 2.

 

I think 2 is the nicest.

 

#1 is a bit is a little big and wide
#2 is the perfect height and width
#3 is a bit too wide

So, #2.

the golden ratio is better used only once, for instance, in this example you'd be better serving it as both the gray and yellow equal heights, yet using the golden ratio on the widths. (Best usability in web design too)
