Imposters Taking Over Sythe?

I noticed that Imposters have become very big in Sythe and have been scamming people just by saying..Oh my Names Finn etc..
I myself had lost two customers due to someone imposting me but something needs to be put in place..

Suggestions:
A) Every Sythe User is required to have their Email Address Bolded in Big letters in their Signature providing they use MSN,AIM, Gmail etc?

Just say request a pm in your thread for the trade and then problem solved!

Anyways Crayola, i was also thinking tutorials for new members of sythe...like being aware about scams etc.

 

They would help but isnt that more like UE than something that needs enforcing

How about write in BIG BOLD letters

PM BEFORE TRADING

 

It isn't hard. Ask for a PM, and look to see if the emails match.

If you get scammed by an imposter, just leave Sythe, seriously.

It'll never be required to have your MSN/AIM in your signature. A lot of people don't want people knowing it. Just request a pm. If you get scammed by an impostor, its your fault for not investigating who you're trading with.

People aren't going to be forced to put something in their signature just because people are too stupid to check an email and ask for a pm. If somebody gets scammed by an impostor, that is COMPLETELY their fault for being an idiot.

 

There have always been many imposters plus like some other people said, just double check if its the right email and ask for a pm simple as that.

I got scammed by someone pretending to be Mod Matt and Rawr Im Phat.

 

No need, all you need is common sense to ask for a pm + check their email, or even better, google their email.
