You should learn some songs by someone like Satriani.
DON'T get all scared at the mention of the name lol.
Pick something easy like Starry Night if you aren't feeling particularly brave.
Probably the BEST way to better your skills is to learn hard songs (sometimes even a little too hard).
Oh, and if you don't like Satch, try Canon Rock (If you don't know what it is, youtube it NOW lol)
