Dispute a Ban Forum

Sythe said "Come back in 2 months" and his case will be reviewed again.

Deacon Frost; very prominent member in the community.

Most recently banned by Sythe himself for putting like a billion nested quotes together, messing with the vb software or something like that.

 

Technically bans are read as they have to be approved by a moderator before appearing. Although I'll admit that more of the average bans should be reviewed and a reply posted, but it's hard to force volunteers into doing tedious work.

I know the staff already have new activity requirements to meet, so having them do even more work is unnecessary/stressful. There isn't a solution, unless we bring up the "more mods!11" suggestion as usual.

When I was on staff people constantly bugged me about reports, appeals, etc and I eventually reviewed them. In all honestly that is the best way to get your appeal read.

 

Bans need to be read, but unless the reason is unusual we don't investigate a single one. It's usually click-n-ban just to clear up the ban requests.

Alright, well let's hear your opinion.

Do you believe that if Feren was banned (equally as trusted as Inventor probably, but not liked by the mods) he would get as much support as Inventor is getting? That is, if everybody knew why he was banned, etc. like they do with Inventor.

I honestly don't believe he would, nor would he get a chance to be unbanned at all like Inventor is getting. My opinion has changed from the OP. I don't believe it's the most trusted members that get more attention, but the members that moderators like the most. I just think that everyone should get equal attention >_>

 

I don't even have a clue who he is. Of course I have seen him post but thats about all I know. If he were banned, and the situation became very well known to all the staff for what ever reason, most likely since we were talking about it, then Yes, he would get the same attention as Inventor since we all know whats going on.
