It's not even animal cruelty, as the dog is dead. It's a standard procedure as the dog may be used as a biological weapon - why run the risk of several soldiers life's for a dog that is no longer anything but a decomposing corpse is beyond me.

It was already dead? whats the point of keeping it there to rot if they burned it alive thats a diffrent story but they did what they had to do and i doubt they will recieve punishments because of there military status.

 

How many soldiers have you talked to for you to come up with this conclusion first off. By the way let me explain something to you in case your emotions got the better of you. They burned the dog for a couple of reasons. . .not just because they thought it would be fun. 1: That dog could be used by some terrorist fuck to hide an I.E.D ( improvised explosive device ) That dog could have hidden 1 maybe 2 120mm mortar rounds which have a blast radius of 75 meters. Definitely going to fuck up soldiers if they come across it. 2: A dead decaying dog laying on the road isn't sanitary at all. These soldiers have a limited supply of everything. Their already fighting terrorists why fight disease also?

Also. . .I never said the soldiers were doing a good thing for their country. You see I chose my words wisely because everyone has their opinion on what we're doing over there. I mean hell soldiers that I work with feel we shouldn't be over there. Don't put words in my mouth.

Too much rage in this thread. The dog was already dead, not unconcious. The thing that did get to me was the soldiers that threw the dog over the cliff.
