93 or 99, is it really worth it?

So I calculated at 93 strength, i would hit about 20 in F2P, while if I were to get 99 strength, I would hit 21 in F2P (using the same equipments).

If so, that's not a huge change in damage dealt (even if it's in members, the damage hit by 93 isn't so far down by the damages dealt with 99 strength).

So my question is, is 99 strength really worth to get if you're taking more than 20 hours (from 93 of course) to get 1 more damage? Does 99 strength hit more often than 93?

I need some advice, if the answer is NO to my first question, then why would I bother to train it to 99? Is it just for the looks and showoffs?

Well, i think you should go for it. Its just 1 more dmg in f2p you say, but thats good anyways since you can hit 20 more often and 21 sometimes, and i think it will take way more than 20 hours lol.

 

Well I'd say, with str pot + pray, 99 str is perhaps more beneficial and works better in sync with improved reflexes than 93. So perhaps constant 24-25s are better than 22-23s. Your choice.

 

IMO I think it's worth it. As said above, I'd rather keep a consistancy of a +1 damage. Even if it's not consistant, for me being a PVPer is still critical. You never know the +1 could mean life or death in red bar situations; I'd say the training is worth it. & if you don't have a firecape a skill cape would be a plus. & there's nothing wrong with showing it off. You put the effort into getting it (im assuming?) and it's cool to have. IMO at least.
So yeah; it's your choice

 

99+pot+pray will hit 25's with scimmy on f2p. I have 99, and I'd much rather have 99 over 93.

 

With 99 strength, you will hit high damage more consistantly, so it would be worth it.

 

Yeah it would be worth it. The cape is pretty nice and the number 93 is ugly. :S

 

I'd stay with 93, but that's just me.

I personally wouldn't just full out train to get 99. Just keep 93, and just take 99 kind of slow.

 

Worth it, imagine if you hit a 20 on someone, they still had one health point left and they KO'd you.

i would say beacaus 1 dammage might decide weather you win or you loose. also you get that sexy cape =)

20 hours? It's 120 hours IF you're getting 50k xp/hour constistently. It would probably be closer to 150 hours by the end.
Of course it's not worth it.

 

Well also you have to think, the higher your strength is the more often you will hit high. so i deff would say 99 and also, it increases the 2h hit by a lot don't it?

It's worth it, I've tested it on my 99 and my 90 account, it is a BIG difference amazingly enough

 

Very big difference between 93 and 99 it is way more than just 1 more hit in P2P
