    Hello.

Many users live outside US, meaning if we want to mail something, it's risky and takes a while.

We have administrators in the three major countries.

    Sythe - Australia
    Finn - UK
    America - Sin, Pen, Matthew

We have a shitload of globals in those countries too, as well as MegaMatt in Canada.

    Do something, please.

I don't quite get what you're saying. People send the money to the other admin/mod, and they send it to Matthew, or they send it to them and then .. what?

    *sigh*

Instead of Matthew ONLY receiving donations HIMSELF, we get OTHER staff member to ACCEPT donations and then deal with Sythe.

I support that idea then. But I don't know if Sythe himself trust anybody else to handle donations, as it seems this was brought up before in the past if I remember correctly.

I support, I would gladly donate if it wouldn't take 2 weeks from New Zealand - Matthew.

It's too easy for users to donate $25, scam $100, then claim the $25 back.

I suppose I support, but whoever it is would have to be extremely trusted.

You just said the reason why PayPal won't be accepted since PayPal donation discussion has been done before and declined.

Too many takebacks = Bad for your PayPal account & money.

Well, either way, that's the reason it isn't available anymore. Doesn't matter even if they just do it once, it still poses a risk to the community. Better safe than sorry.

Paypal should be accepted, considering there is a gift option and if they send as gift the money can not be disputed.

Read any of these threads. It's not allowed to have PayPal donations.
    • The example. Someone donates $100 to Sythe, scams $200 off the site with the "trust" the donation brought, and then charge back Sythe. So no.
    _________

However, this idea isn't too bad. Just have to see if Finn and Sythe with all actually take donations.

I would send £10 to Finn strait away, the only thing is admins don't like giving out there adresses.

They could have a postal box set up for them?

And instead of them dealing with sythe they could paypal it to Matthew and leave him to sort ranks and such.

    Support.

Something that can be done is, setting country donation handlers that receive mail and send thru western union/paypal/etc to Matthew.

I agree, ALOT more people would donate if there was more donating options. Fair enough Matthew doesn't want to accept Paypal because of the risk of charge backs but this reduces the ammount of donators at Sythe. I'm 100% sure Sythe would get atleast 50% more donators if there was more ways to donate. I don't see any other way to do it though.

The only possible way I think would work is the method Inventor used to do.

I agree with this. More people would be willing to donate.

As for the chargebacks, we can make restrictions on who can donate with Paypal.
