I tried to make a pure, did i fail? what shud i do now?

You didn't fail at all. You can go a Void pure, an Intiate pure, or even a Zerker pure.

You have plenty of options ahead of you, seeing as you have very nice money making skills it shouldn't be too hard!

Normally train and get higher HP

60 attack
You have to choose between being a tank, or being a zerker. Tanks usually stop at 70-75 Attack, Zerkers stop at 75 Attack. Or you may keep 60.

75 strength
If you choose to be a tank, Keep this. Do not level it at all. If you want zerker, Get 99 Str.

6 def
This is where you need to choose your path, Tank or Zerker.
Tank you need 80+ Defense.
Zerker you need 45 (DO QUESTS FOR DEFENSE XP!)

43 prayer
Leave this.

40 range
If you choose tank, 99 Range is key. If not I'd still try to get 90+ Range.

Unstated mage, Get 94 Magic and get Lunar spells! Vengence is the key to pking these days. Vengence is a must!

 

You may have failed at a 1 def pure, but like Shall said, there is still options. 20 Defence with rune gloves, etc. Go initiate, zerker, main, just don't let all that money, 99 hunter + time go to waste.

 

Okay, most people make a mistake with berserker pures. They think 'okay, i'll get 45 def then i'm all sweet to pk', WRONG.

They take lots of PLANNING. I had one of the best berserker pures i'd ever seen, reason why is because i spent lots of time planning it. I planned out every aspect of my berserker pure.

I quested all the way to 45 defence, i leveled it's defence from 44 - 45, that was it. And i made sure it only just hit 45, when i got close i started killing rats just it'd be exactly 45 defence, no more. The reason why i did all the defence giving quests is because theres a high possibility their will be a new item in the future that you want that's quest related. Lets say for example, you had not done holy grail quest. Then a new type of boots come out, like 3 times better than climbing boots, and the quest requirements need holy grail done. You've already got 45 defence, thus doing this quest would get you 47 or so defence, thus fucking up your pure.

That's just an example to make you understand. You have to plan everything. Do all prayer giving quests as well. Berserker pures do well with smite.

 

i agree with tyson... plan your account, train prayer and defense only from quests and it will be an awesome account =)

just do quests for def xp.. etc. to easy...

Leave at 6 def, and pk, who cares 5 levels only level up 1-2 levels, its nothing too bad, get def ONLY if you feel tired of low def. btw nice cod4 sig.

No its not fail.
Depends on what kind of pure you want.
Void Pure or Zerker Pure are still in your reach.
Except with Zerker, you have to plan everything so its a perfect 45 defence.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother going zerker, waste of time really. Just keep the 6 defense, unless you can't stand it, then get it higher. I am 100% sure you will have more fun with 6 defense then you will with 45.

Yeah, Maybe a zerker, or just PK with 6 def. Its 6 times better than all those 1 def noobs

 

Start out by making this account a nice zerker. Eventually you will probably want to make it a main. If you don't like mains, then continue the account as a zerker pure and pk.

 

You don't have to stop being a pure. You could get 10 def, or get the best rfd gloves you can while staying in the 6-25 def region.
