Why do You Play Runescape?

Well the answer usualy varies from forum to forum, posts on rsc its usualy about clans, same as tip.it and various other fan site forums, interested to hear your opinions -

Mine was - The clan i used to run, spent 3+ years running a clan, was really fun, had a great time met alot of good friends, but early 2008 i lost complete interest in runescape, i'd literally log in for clan events [that i didn't enjoy anymore because i was bored of the game, but i did it to keep the clan going] adventualy late 09 i called it a day, was really hard, But it had to be done, now i don't Play runescape itself, i run lots of bots to sell accounts/gp etc.

What about you?

What keeps you playing? Enjoyment? Friends? Nothing better to do? Pure addiction?

My reason... well none really, I hardly play.
I would have to say the majority of players are addicted.

 

I play it when I'm bored, I use it to talk to friends, I use it to waste time, I also play it just for fun. You know. Just like any other game. There really isn't a reason to play any kind of video game unless someone made you do it.

 

I only pk.
Never train at all, majority of my combat stats are from pking.
Botted my woodcutting and fletching
And only other reason is to talk to old friends and do mini-games
I've lost the love for the rest of the game..

 

Yeah just wondering how many people actually play for fun, by the looks of it not alot really :embar: Addicts and bored people :noworry:

 

I have a friend who has his own little black market.
He bots the accounts and then waits 2 months to see if they get banned. If they don't then he sells then for real money.

I don't play anymore, but when I did it was mainly for friends. I'd gain about 10k exp a month.

 

I play cuz im addict as shit to pking, i couldnt survive if i dont log on a damn pvp world everyday. Also for the extra bucks from selling botted accounts.

I used to play because I was addicted. Then I pked for fun and friends. Now, I just boss people around with my pmod acc for a few minutes or go on muting rampages in w2.
