Jagex named best UK games developer!

I voted for them and they beat the makers of GTA and fable?

What does everyone else think about this

Think it will help improve jagex at all either?

Just gonna go to their big heads, they'l probably see it as there doing the right thing, which they aren't..... the games getting alot worse, but as long as www.miniclip.com gives links and advertises runescape, 12 year old idiots will find the game and the Runescape Member base will continue to grow.

actually that's not a suprise because it's the only free to play mmo that actually offers decent graphics and a multi cultural community

 

It's funny, thats how i found runescape back in 2005, i was 14 back then

 

I like the GTA series.

 

Ahh Fagex shouldn't have won...GTA is so much more diverse, as is Fable, therefore I think these developers shoulda got a look-in.

 

I think it'll be treated as a farce, the only reason they won is because RS is so easily accessible and so many 5 year olds play the game who aren't allowed GTA/Fable.

GTA/Fable are both AMAZING games, RS is a sad game that shouldn't be played unless pk'ing or botting.

 

I personally think GTA should have won. I'm not going to hop on the bandwagon of hating Jagex, but they're not so great anymore. Don't get me wrong, their skills are actually quite amazing, I just simply don't like it.

 

I do agree GTA is awesome! Jagex do seem to be making the game worse more than improving as they have been for like 2 years now

Lionhead should have won this hands down. Now lets look at what the games components have done apart form the actual games..

Jagex: basically revolutionized the new ages of java scripting for free online browser games.

Lionhead: Created a very nice game engine + Milo(is that its name? i cant remember) One of the most advanced pieces of gaming software in the world..

Rockstar: tbh fuck all.. an under avaerge game engine and nothing else.


To be fair , yes the GTA series was good but it was nothing new and as a game DEVELOPER there pretty shit.

Lionhead is taking us into a new era of facial recognition and voice recognition making our gaming fantasy reality.

Jagex has provided the market with a new type of mmo that can be play by almost anyone.

Logical ranking would be 1.Lionhead 2.Fagex 3.rockstar.

 

Wow.. Wasnt like Cod4 and Cod5 Entered? Surely they are 1000x better. :/

Lolz i found runescape on miniclip too, back in the days.
Imo jagex didnt revolutionize anything, they just created a shity graphics game that anyone could play with zero gaming experience.
Seeing how they "updated" runescape over the years, they only deserve piety and shame.

 

Before runescape there was nothing close to it in browser gaming..

 

I think Jagex have gotten almost complacent with the recent updates, I think all this will do is go to their heads.
