yeah, this finally gives a good purpose for 99 firemaking... itll let you use this weapon with a smaller chance of it blowing up

I agree you're late on the subject. This has been an on-off discussion since the update; They're pushing close and closer to guns, but never gave a mount or anything that tied in with the game before cannons etc. Real turn off.

 

Cannons and guns are similar that they both fire projectiles, but different in time periods. I agree hand cannons are a little too close to guns..

 

it is a little close to a gun. I think there should be no guns but there are some people that want guns in runescape.

I doubt Jagex would put in something WITHOUT CONSIDERING the fact that THEIR game is a medieval style game

Eh, I don't see why they can't have cannons. I think you all are going a bit too far to say it's "unrealistic" and yet you go and slay dragons and cast magic spells :S

It's a balanced weapon with pros and cons, it's not like they added in an AK and you can insta-kill everyone...

 

Actually, this Medieval hand-cannon is not at all a form of the modernized gun. They were dated back to 3000 BC, in ancient Chinese and Medieval societies.
