Explanation of the trade: So I bought a League of Legends Smurf acc on their website less than a month ago. I bought it as just that: a smurf. So I play on it whenever I want to take a break from my main. Turns out today my main got a 12 hour ban for dodging 3 games in a row, so I decided to hop on my smurf until my main has its cooldown. Surprise when I log in, the account was banned for having used bots to level it up. ANYONE that is experienced in the smurf accs game, knows this happens when Chinese boosters, or low quality smurf sellers, sell their accounts. 95% of them get banned sooner or later for having used bots to level it from lvl 1-30 (level 30 being the level needed to play ranked games, ergo, what a smurf account is used for. To play ranked.)

How they scammed: I contacted them via the website asking for a refund, or some sort of store credit. Flat out, they said the order was delivered so no refund. I tried to explain to "Jack", the customer service agent talking to me, that this is something widespread in the smurf selling community, and unfortunately, the account i bought from them was banned since they used bots to level it up. He proceeded to tell me that once the account was sold, its sold as is, and considered delivered and unrefundable. This is non-sense, because any other smurf selling website either refunds you, replaces the account, or what have you, if it ends up being banned for botting the account. This is why, in the League of Legends smurf selling market, the "HAND-LEVELED" accounts end up being alot more pricey, since the botted accounts are cheap as hell. You get botted accounts anywhere between $2-$15, while the handleveled go for $20-$30 ish. This is because there is 100% guarantee you wont get banned on the hand-leveled, for obvious reasons.

I decided to make a post here, since I know Chicks will probably see this, and will understand what I'm talking about and make this right. Sometimes their customer service agents are so clueless, and it's a waste of time trying to explain to them. Also, I asked to speak to Veng, (which i dont know if its the same veng from here), but Veng knows me, as I'm a regular customer to them, and usually sets the situation straight and gives me a good solution. "Jack" said veng was unavailable, and said no to the refund.

FYI: "Jack", asked for the acc details/login to verify the ban, and he indeed verified it, but basically said "how do i know it wasnt you who botted after buying the account?"

-- Which is ridiculous, because smurf accounts are bought to play ranked games. The only bots used are bots to level up the account, which only go to level 30. So this account was effectively botted until level 30, sold as a smurf, bought as a smurf, got the ban hammer for botting, and now they wont refund me.

"Jack" has offered me a replacement account, to which I explained to him that I did not want another botted account.

He proceeded to tell me, "Sorry we can't do anything else then, considering your purchase is over a month old.

Which is also bullshit, because I bought the account on July 15th, and today is August 8th.

Hi there, unfortunately as per our TOS which you agreed to upon checkout, we do not cover bans that occur after the purchase date, especially if it has been a month. That being said, we had offered you a replacement which you declined. It was a generosity even offering a replacement in the first place, as the account could have easily been botted within the month that has now passed.

 

That makes no sense, and a month has not passed by yet. The account has been botted from lvl 1-30 as per the ban, and i havent received the account until it hit 30 -- its not a generosity to fix an account that got banned by illegal leveling processes as thats in violation of Riot Game's TOS

No, I haven't even had the account for a month, so please stop saying a month has passed by. I didnt accept a replacement because like I said in the post, I don't want another botted account? What's the point if it's gonna get banned anyway?

 

It is worth nothing that we held the account for 4 months before it got sold, from experience the account would have been banned long before if it was due to an error on our behalf.

Again, this is why we have the TOS set in place, so there is a clear understanding what happens in situations like these.

 

Ask anyone that sells League smurfs. If accounts levels were botted, they will be banned. You can literally check every single game on op.gg since I bought the account, and 100% of games are ranked. You can't bot ranked games. You bot co-op vs AI games.

The complete lack and disregard that you have just leads me to believe you're trying to pull a fast one on me as if I didn't know how this process works, as I've been buying smurfs for years. This is the first smurf acc I buy on Chicks and it gets banned.

Any other Smurf seller would replace a botted account with a handleveled one, or refund. That simple.

The fact you're declining a $12.41 refund goes to show what kind of company you are.

Please go on my order page on your website and check how many orders I've done with you guys in the past for OSRS gp mainly.

You will stain your company name and lose a frequent customer over $12.41

Also what's gonna be hilarious is this dispute will be ruled in Astro's favor since he's an ex-Admin

 

There's no way to prove Chicks team was behind the ban since you haven't provided us a screenshot of the ban reason or match history before you got the account (which is likely gone now given it's been a month pretty much), therefore there's nothing that can really be done here to prove you claims and they were generous enough to offer a replacement account which they didn't have to.
