ToS about OG Owners Question

Why does sythe allow TOS stating we are no longer responsible after certain period of month if account get recovered - from Original owners or "TRUSTED IRL FRIEND" ??

I feel like some people wait that certain amount of time before recovering and nothing is done since TOS state the person is not responsible. Feels like a "legal" way to scam and recover accounts

 

I assume your post is in response to this active scam report TotalHops is in the process of recovering my account, but tbh we don't have many cases of users recovering their accounts the moment their liability period expires.

ToS are negotiable in the same sense that price is negotiable. Don't agree to the ToS if you don't like them.

 

It came from reading this post, yes.

But I was just asking my self that at least OG owners should provide recovery after even 6 months, unless person is not active anymore. But I guess that's fair don't have to agree

I guess that true, but not being able to recover it or not willing to help since ToS state otherwise is ........

 

precisely the reason why you should negotiate on ToS before agreeing to them

 

Makes sense, I was just wondering, I don't buy accounts pretty much only sell them

Keep in mind that as a buyer, you're more than capable of adjusting the terms of service as you see fit, and if the seller doesn't want to do that, then you simply don't buy it.
If the terms of service aren't something you're comfortable with, simply don't complete the transaction and bind yourself to them.
The best thing you can do when it comes to account sales is do your research and buy accounts that you can feel confident won't be recovered, ever.
If you're buying from some random person and just gambling that they won't recover it, the TOS really doesn't matter to be honest, a scumbag is going to recover it regardless.

 

Completely agree with you, but fact that someone is OG owner of account and refused to help recover back the account is red flag to me. Not saying that everyone refused. Some people do which is good faith from seller but it should be a must when ATLEAST OG owner and if account was not sold again. An account should be lost to begin with, if email is transferred to new buyer, he can be hacked (account cleaned for GP and Gear) but fact that he loses full control of account is pretty much only doable by it being recovered (unless I'm wrong)
