My Userbar Rate & Hate

Hey, This is my first attempt at a userbar & animation XD
took me about 30 mins as i screwed up, and confused myself a few times along the way :laugh:

Anyways here it is :

I decided i did not like the one above, so i edited it ;S >> please state wich one you like more <<

i also made a matching Avatar ;DDD


Please if your going to criticise then give reasons why and how i can improve it

Uhm no, back in 07, i got told over and over again not to use bevel and emboss, as unless you know how to use it properly it looks sh*t, so i dont :laugh:

I really like the second one more then the first. The border really catches the eye

 

Yeh, i agree, thats the thing i didnt like about the first one, i cant stand things without a border ;D, and i went for the blue because thats what colour the font animates in

gewd job 8/10. i like the coloring, yet it deserves more complexity.

I'd say that it would be way better if the coloring on the letters would go through faster.
