Hello, I got a question. Someone send cash as a gift. There is my question: can he recover the cash? Im asking, because im little afraid that he get the cash and i got scammed again :/ Please answer fast.
He can't do claim and cancel, because it says: We're sorry, but this transaction cannot be disputed because it is not a purchase of goods or services. Please contact the recipient directly. cant do it
Dude, all funds are reversible. He can: 1. File an unauthorized dispute. 9/10 times he'll get the money back. 2. His paypal goes into negative credit, all of his funds get held. You lose the money. 3. He calls the credit company and have them reverse it.
TBH basically don't deal with payPal for a start, and yes I find that receiving a payment as Gift is much safer than claim+ cancel which people believe is full proof pfft. Either way, paypal can easily get you fucked over. Anyways my PayPal is safe, since I Registered it with my Solo Card so I cant go into Debt, and no funds can be taken direct from my bank account.
You'll have better luck dealing with claim and canceling. You run into the issue of fees, but it's better than losing it all together.
You shouldn't use paypal when trading other people. To be honest I only use it for companys and online shopping. Anyway back to what you asked, yes he probably could recover it.
If you send as gift, you can still claim it back. All you need to do is check Unauthorized transaction instead of item dispute...
exactly as cjm said , but he CANT claim back if he is bank funded , and if he is CC funded he can claim back in matter of seconds .
