Which shield should i use?

Hey there, so i am in need of a new shield.

should i keep my obby shield or switch over to The Dragon Sq shield? Im an all around character. Thanks!

 

Obby Shield for the str bonus.

obby shield doesnt have str bonus..

As far as the shield slot goes rune defender IS BEST item in the game.

If not rune defender, obby shield > d sq, seeing as strength bonus is beneficial

 

If not rune defender, then dragonfire shield, and rune defender isn't the best shield slot item, DFS is.

 

lol the bonuses of the d sq are actually just slightly worse than obby, i checked

obby has str bonus, so ide definitely go with that.

 

Obby sheild is more ftwness tbh, get it.

The reason he suggested the two options is probably due to only being able to wield them. I'm sure you'd recommend a SS to a noob using bronze because it's better.

 

if u can weild dsq u can weild a rune defender...

 

i agree with everyone going for rune defender... if you can take the time to earn the rune defender, then get it

Rune defender requires 40 attack and defence, D sq requires 60 defence. If he has 60 defence and is an all around character like he said then he should be able to weild it. Getting it is the thing he might not be able to do though if he can not get into warriors guild.

BTW I say rune defender as well and if you can't, do the obby shield. ^_^

 

if ur looking for a str bonus than the obby shield is better, however the d square has better melee defence. 10 better than the obby shields stab, slash, and crush defence.
