This really bugs me.

When some high and mighty admin comes in posts a reply and locks the thread. You don't think we have something to say in response to what you posted?

Mostly hot threads get locked when people are still discussing issues amongst the suggestions and feedback forum. Its ridiculous how the members of sythe are trying to make sythe better, and discuss things trying to find a solution, and then an admin comes in a says some thing that people can respond and prove a point to, but it gets locked.

I'll Lol when this gets locked.

If you care so much to reply to them, then send them a PM. When they swoop in and make a reply and lock a thread, they are most likely posting a final decision to the issue or suggestion, so there should be no need to leave the thread open for posting. Likewise, the suggestion may be escalated to the Staff Section, where the Staff may vote on said suggestion or issue.

I don't see a problem with this, necessarily. Admins are trying to keep the forums and its inhabitants in check.

 

Well it keeps others from voicing their opinions on things. Especially since the threads are no where near from needing closed if the members are still talking about things.

Rather than let spam pile up, we close the suggestions that we know are not effective, feasible, or worthwhile. The rest are left to develop and be reviewed. This allows the suggestions that are actually possible to get the most input/attention.

 

If there aren't members talking about things then there's no need to lock the thread.

 

Yeah, I feel sort of weird when I want to post on a thread and it's closed after an Admin's reply..

 

Since when has the majority of staff actually cared about what an average member thinks? It's either have connections or just get flamed by the staff for the truth. Sadly, we'll just have to deal with it.
