Why Pure Ess?

I looked at the pricing, and P Ess isn't much different cost wise than iron ore. Why do people obsess over it and not iron?

 

idk never did figure that out y even buy p ess i mean i get reg ess its cheaper and jus as good as far as i can see but iron is pretty good to sell but less ppl buy it

 

Do you get p ess quicker or something? Does it give better exp? I don't get it.

 

It's easier to bot as there are more scripts/bots aimed towards it.

 

And it's in high demand from RCers, esp from nat runners.

Nature Running, Law Running etc... Runecrafting.

 

1) The difference between normal essence and pure essence is, pure essence can make any rune, including nature, law, blood, etc. Normal essence can only make the basic runes like fire, water, body, mind, etc. 2) When you're a member or 31 mining(I think it's 31) you mine pure essence instead of normal essence. 3) Pure essence is closer to a bank than iron, it's worth 60+ gp more, and more people need it than iron, so it's easy to sell.

 

im jus staring rc i always had somone do it and payed on my old main but didnt kno that but im makin decent cash off of buying ess and making airs to sell not much but free rc once ur like lvl 44 i think u make like 10gp each and it keeps going up

 

All of the stated above is correct. In addition, there isn't a spawn rate for essence in general. You don't have to wait for it to re-spawn and/or share it with anyone else. You get essence 100% of the time so you won't risk wasting time. It's heavily in demand by RCers. Because of that fact, it is heavily targeted by macro/bot programs/scripts.

 

As Pokemoners2 stated, you don't have to fight over ores and you can easily afk it for a second because you don't have to constantly click it. There is no running around for ores either, just 1 spot mining. I believe it may be faster than iron and it's closer to a bank and doesn't weight as much as iron (so you can run longer).

 

P ess is better cash, u get it faster and it sells

 

It's the most traded item on the grand exchange , rune crafters need it , you can mine it faster then iron , there are more scripts for it then iron ore.

 

Used for nat running etc.
