Supersketchy trader: Delirius

Usually when trades happen, a thing or two can go wrong. People forget stuff, it's only human. In this case, it's a combination of things that add up that make me write this report. This warrants a TWC at the very least I'd say. The guy is super sketch, opportunistic and agressive. His 25$ donator status on his 14-day account gives a nice touch to all of this.

Explanation of the trade: I sold him 265m 07 for .45 through BTC.
How they scammed:
1. He told me he was in a hurry before the btc-transaction got confirmed. It ended up taking over 2 hours. (not sure if a doublespend was attempted here, but ok, this isn't the core of this report). He asks me for world + place before the btc-transfer confirms. Consequently I google his in game name to see if there's a report on it. (see below)
2. When he saw that I was waiting out for the confirmations (or that BTC was going up?) he asked me to pay him back the BTC that he sent me, because 'he would have gone with the guy that offered him .46 on coinbase'.
2.1. Consequently found out that Yanlili offered him .45 and Exoticz even offered him .445 before he contacted me.
3. After I got the payment, I immediately sent him a message telling him I could pay him. He didn't respond for 2 hours.
3.1 Then he told me he doesn't want the 07 'because his 07-account got banned', the latter ended up being another lie. (see timestamps of a. I googled his ign, b. his claim of the account being banned, c. the trade.
3.2 Confronted him twice about lying about the banned account. Still no response.
3.3 Threatened to report me if I didn't pay him 'extra' (BTC went up).
3.4 Swore at me in the meantime
4. During the trade he was reluctant in quoting his ign on discord and even gave the wrong ign.
4.1 Later edited the info back to make it seem as if he typed it correctly in this first place.

Yes I was in a hurry because I needed it for a transaction I was doing on a runescape private server (Near-reality) where you buy donator pins ingame for RSGP and then sell them for ingame gold. I had asked the middleman to teleport me (on the rsps) thinking the transaction I sent you would go through quick (btc). Coinbase has never asked me to choose ‘fees’ or ‘change fees’ amount etc, so the fact you thought I was trying to ‘double spend’ makes no sense because I do not even have awareness of the fees. Plus I sent you all required proof to show I sent you the money and had even bought the btc for this transaction lol.

I asked you if you had coinbase since it would be sent immediately to you, avoiding all this hassle. I had legit forgot that ‘Exoticz’ offered me 0.455 and I will show the screenshots below. Yes I asked for a refund of the $ because it had gone up and it makes no sense that if it had gone down then I would be paid less (sythe rules but kinda makes no sense to me).

I didn’t respond for 2 hours because I was busy irl and staff you can see that in the screenshots attached in my communication with ‘Exoticz’ as well. You are talking as if I did it to avoid you or something.

First off, I did not threaten you. I asked you to ‘sort this out together’ or I would make a report, in an attempt to avoid all this hassle. It seems you take things too personal, and the reason I said for us to sort it out first together is because other members have told me that they do not know the outcome the situation since both parties have a valid point.

I swore at you because a) it’s quite easy to assume you spoke shit about me to other members of the community since Exoticz responded to me in a very rude way out of no where when I approached him to buy the gold, since the confirmation between me and you was taking too long. And b) your way of communication and stubbornness was so infuriating.

Please explain how I was being ‘reluctant’ you sent me your ingame name screenshot and I traded you, this isn’t the first time where a member send me their name and I trade them and I say ‘im trading you’ and they confirm its me and confirm’x gold you?’ and I reply yes and finish the trade. I even responded with my original name the first time (see gif) with the correct capitals and everything but discord doesn’t show the difference. You said ‘nice try’ as if I was trying to scam you? Lol, again very provoking and professional of you. You then asked me to retype it with lowercase letters and I made a mistake because of the whole ‘i’, ‘I’, and ‘l’ confusion – im not a robot. I then went back and edited it immediately and removed the 2nd ‘i’ in deiuslional’ and made it ‘deiuslonai’. Your stubbornness continued so I even sent you a screenshot of the name. You say ‘4.1 Later edited the info back to make it seem as if he typed it correctly in this first place.’ As if I did it hours or minutes later but it was immediately after I realised (within a minute timeframe) and after originally sending you the REAL username as displayed ingame. You’re evidently just trying to stir shit up for no reason.

Staff please DM me or add me on discord to show all proof.

 

Additionally, Exoticz can vouch that I have been in no way a 'supersketchy' trader as this person is claiming. I dealt with him and everything went super smooth and he even apologised to me for the way he approached me because of President. @Exoticz

Lies, see above. Threatening to suck more money out of me is not the equivalent of constructively sorting something out together. There wasn't even an issue here until you decided to go full-greed because BTC went up. You should have properly taken what you paid for instead of going full garbage.

You talk as if I killed someone to get gp out of you. I spoke to other people and they said I had a valid point as to how the situation ended up - Transaction taking 2+ hours to get confirmed and price of crypto increasing so a bit unfair to me. (If the opposite was to happen, crypto to decrease then i would be paid less - makes no sense). In fact I spoke to QBD on discord and he said to me to open a report to see what the mods would decide on and that is why I was insisting on a refund.

I sent you the ORIGINAL username as if it were copy pasted from runescape into discord. Stop trying to make me seem like I was trying to send you a fake username. This is exactly what I mean by you are so full of shit and provoking for no reason. How about you answer this - Was there anyone else with the same username there or even a similar username?

I don't have to explain to you anything about my account being banned or not, if a staff member wants then they can approach me. I'm done interacting with you and will just wait a staff member out and supply them with all the details they need.

You sent your user twice:

1st time. You typed the name with capital i's and small letter l's - knowing that discord doesn't make a visual distinction between the two.
2nd time. After I pointed this out, I requested for you to retype the name without capitals. That's when you misspelled it and later edited it back. You knew very well what you were doing.

Make of this what you want, but seems to me like you tried to do me dirty twice. Had I traded you, you would've and could've just said "oh you traded an imposter!" and there's nothing I could have done. You deserve the DNT for that alone.

I think this is pretty essential given two things:
1. You based your 'refund'-claim on this
2. Context-based it's very relevant. It's another lie until you prove that it's not a lie. It doesn't make your other web of claims (lies) more believable.

As i stated before; i'd like not to get involved in this situation. I'm gonna save myself the headache from reading all of this (smart isn't it?), because i know what happened;

You wanted to buy 07 from president and were talking your way around the yard to get a cheaper rate. President decided to sell you the 07 gp for btc, the payement was with a pretty low fee (the speed was slower than what you wished for, hence why i'm using "low") which resulted in the payment taking longer. You were in a rush, but the money could not be delivered since 1 confirmation is required when dealing with bitcoin. You weren't aware of this and felt "screwed over". This sucks and i can understand your frustration.

You should, however, have done your research on potential fees and the time this transaction could have confirmed. I use coinbase myself and usually the payments do confirm pretty quick, but sometimes they can be somewhat slower. One thing is for certain; President is not responsible for the loss on your refund since you should have done your research on potential fees and waiting times (and the potential risk of losing out on bitcoin in the meantime in case you wanted a refund).

En fin, moving on. You pm'ed me, sent me the money on coinbase (Litecoin) and provided your first name correctly. You can have some what of an attitude, but in my opinion you have not been sketch (to me atleast). The fact that you gave a wrong ingame name still raises questions on my end though. When doing the trade with me you gave the correct ign and the trade was very fast and smooth, so to answer that question; no you have not been "super sketchy" to me.

Like i mentioned in my first post, the person i'm buying the gp from almost always tell me their name and confirm i'm the one trading them (usually never ask for my actual name).

Like I mentioned on discord, there isn't enough proof here to warrant a DNT since it's all circumstantial evidence. @Delirius did misspell his IGN, but edited it within the same minute. Which I can chalk up to a genuine mistake.

In the future please be more careful when typing an IGN. I've put in a request to remove your DNT.
