Scimitar Graphical Update [FUTURE]

Ok so i have been browsing the dev diary and i came across the new scimitars, so ill share them with you and see what you think

 

Starting to look like the prince of persia style

 

Yup lol, i think the old scim looks way too chunky.

 

Looks good imo

 

I've known about this for about 3 weeks. Also, they're making a sun in runescape. It'll be day, afternoon, night. It will be sweet.

 

That sounds pretty awesome ^.^ , ive seen many concepts on youtube and stuff, should really bring the game to life.

 

This looks fucking gay. Jagex has no idea what they're doing to their game.

It doesn't look too diffrently than what it currently is. Just more of a curved edge i guess.

 

I disagree, i think that it looks alot better than the origional.

But 90% of the time , jagex fail. Agreed

 

will it attack faster? if so will teh whip still be as fast?
otehrwise i might have to buy a goddamn d scim

It'll be WAY better. If you remember right, when they started they had 2D graphics. Look at them now. It'll attract more players and most likely will become the best MMO in the world.

 

Im not sure if the attack speed is increased because i think the animation is just looping i dont think it will be like that in game.

 

yeah its cheap how jagex showed that the old scimmy was "slow" compared to the new scimmy
but in reality, the speed is the same
the reason they did this is so they would give the appearance of doing something

I think it looks a lot better, and cooler. Reminds me of that old ass movie "The Scorpion King" lol..

 

I like how it looks, I don't like how the character is flopping around, and I'm curious how the Dragon Scimitar will look.

 

What the hell? To me the old scimitar is the fast one =|
