Adding an Xbox/Other Sales Mod

As Sin said, finding someone qualified for the sub-thread would have to be qualified and know a ton or almost everything about every game that a user want's to use. Without rules, or someone that knows EVERYTHING then it would be hard to decipher between a scammer, or someone who is tricking another. It's like taking a new person who has never played Runescape, WoW, Diablo and making them mod it.

That's my thought on it.

 

Its not just understanding the game its just the whole forum in general like there is flame/spam/scammers everywhere you don't need to know much about the game, when there is a msn screenshot saying the account info then the kid saying it worked followed by him saying you got scammed; thats kind of a no brainer. But like me, I just wonder through all the market forums, I don't really post on them but i just wonder through, and its not that hard to do lol I rather enjoy it. But it would be nice to have just a few mods who know about most the games, Like i'm an active gamer so its not that hard to understand games, I can basically know the basics of the games in less then 2 minutes of playing it, Since I have my own Xbox, Steam Account, WoW Account, Runescape Account, Habbo Hotel, Diablo2 and almost every blizzard game, and a hole ton more, I guess its just easy for me since i play such a large variety, but there are many people like that and it would be amazing to have people actually watching over the forums and helping people out instead of just leaving them to die.

So you're saying the 2 mods we have don't know jack about the xbox forum? That's what you just said. That it may be they have no interest, well then they shouldn't be mod of the forum, Benwise should, at least I know he plays xbox. Also I am familair with NP, Steam, and a majority of what you said. I'm pretty sure that mods should be required when they are on at least check each forums recent threads at least once a day, since you can kinda find threads where people say stuff and flame.

 

I agree 100%, as Xbox related section is all I really go in.. The mods that are supposed to moderate it aren't very active. I contacted Benwise90 on MSN to ask him to banned 2 ban evaders. We need a few active mods for the job. If we had active mods that = less scammers, etc.

 

You're still speaking primarily in terms of the xbox section. You prove my point in your comparative lack of interest in the numerous other games represented in that forum.

If none of the globals want to mod there, I will consider granting temporary permissions to the "other sales" forum to an existing sectional, as the market mods admittedly already have enough to handle. If you know of one interested that does not already mod two sections, have them PM me.

It will not get its own mod at least until it moves into its own section, and that is a different issue.
