Should Fagex pull the plug.

I only just moved to this forum from Fagex, some of you might know me from there.

Personally I think they should pull the plug and end it
I believe it has no future what do you's think?

The owner "BoneDaddy" is still trying to keep it alive but the people he made Admins don't really care about Fagex all they care about is their powers and how many infractions they can give people for "lulz"

I agree with you. Their forums are not as active as Sythe and the admins are not dedicated to the site. Remember that mess bonedaddy had with Syn? Its problems for bone.

 

Most fagex members, like me, are active on sythe more-so than Fagex. Im 100% on that fagex should pull the plug.

Its run by 7 individuals.. anyone else doesn't have a chance there.

You don't have to make anyone mod. You have to toughen the fuck up. You have AAdude and Attiusca being racist in the shoutbox and you don't do shit all.

Atleast this forum has someone who cares...

 

too bad you don't really know the situation and aadude to my knowledge was doing nothing breaking the rules, as dgd said we must not be too strict with the rules but not too lenient either.

we need mods to handle banning attiusca over and over and over and you also need proof to keep attiusca banned. if you want to go find enough proof for a permanent ban we can work as hard as we can to keep the banned user from coming back.

i've been admin for like a year now on fagex and i can say without a doubt i care about fagex more than any site and more than sythe cares about sythe.org (i don't really know i'm just exaggerating probably), i'm the only competent admin now... and i can't do it all, that's why i'm pushing for 1337_macro to come back.

i have people in mind just in case bone doesn't come on soon enough, i'll mod them and they will do fine and bone won't do much about it but possibly give me a slap on the wrist, but hopefully he knows that i've been doing this longer than him and i should know a good mod when i see it. i will also consult with macro even though he's still technically a legend before moderating anyone, if anyone has more experience it is macro.

i favor fagex over sythe any day, even if it isn't as active, just for the community, it's very connected.

Last time I went on Fagex was like a year ago. I think I got IP banned and I don't know why because it never loads for me. If nobody cares about the site as suggested I say they should just give up.

If Sythe didn't care about the site as much as he did, Sythe wouldn't be up anymore. You can't just come out of the woods and start stating "made-up" facts and statistics about Sythe. You might be the only competent administrator, but without a community and "the key" you won't get anywhere.

 

You obviously failed to read the word opinion.

 

Because Sythe is more useful than any other RuneScape cheating site.

I realize that it's his opinion that Sythe doesn't care about the site. I was speaking of how he claims that internet crimes would go down 75+ percent, and it's my opinion that when you state your opinion it should make some sense and the words should have some value because internet crimes would go down less than .5 percent if Sythe was shut down - it's just not possible to go down upwards of 75 percent. Sure it's an opinion, but a statistical impossibility at that - which I would disregard. You can't just throw out ludicrous numbers in attempts to put forth you're views. Although it's just his opinion, it's a horrible/nonsensical assessment.

 

Fagex has never rivaled Sythe in popularity, and when it comes down to it, the only reason people enjoy the site is because they prefer the community. Sythe has always been the best Runescape Cheating site, hands down. The marketplace is more active, the cheating sections are more active, it's an obvious fact.

To say that Sythe is a worse site simply because more scams take place here is absolutely ridiculous. If you go on a trade-by-trade basis, Sythe likely has a higher ratio of successful transactions than any other Runescape site. Simply due to the high volume of trades, there are obviously going to be more scams. Runescape trading is a risky thing no matter where you are, just because you use Fagex does not mean you can go first for anyone. To the contrary, there have been reports of several Fagex staff scamming users, such as Hellogoodbye.

Long story short, as far as a Runescape Cheating site goes, Fagex is basically obsolete.

 

The words right from the man who probably has the highest successful trades rate and more trades completed than any one member on Sythe or Fagex. I haven't seen you in a while R2P, I guess you just got back.

When you have a larger black market and more members there are obviously going to be more scams - we can't help that. Fagex just has it's specialties such as Warez, which we don't have (apparently they aren't helping in keeping activity up) and thankfully we haven't slowed down in activity. Each site is going to have it's downfalls, but in the end Sythe is likely the most successful RS cheating site on the web.

Holy hell. I just joined the site literally 10 minutes ago and it has sooooo many things wrong with it. Racist's users being banned, then unbanned because the "proof" aint anything.

Its ridiculous, and a mad house in there.

If you don't want to pull the plug, find some people that know what the hell they are doing. These people obviously do not.
