My Departure

I am leaving Sythe for several reasons:

1. The down time is killing me here;
2. Sythe was rude (and to think I was going to donate $200... ha!);
3. The multiple stupid fractions I received.

I have no interest in staying here besides the programming contest, which I have lost faith in ever being judged.

Not that anyone cares, though. Just thought I would help Sythe out by giving him the reasons why he lost my business.

I agree, but it still seems to go down a lot more often than any other site I have been to.

When suggesting ways to help sythe.org remain up for longer than an hour, I do believe he called me "retarded" - or something to that effect.

My first was for posting a thread - which was originally asking the value of an account which turned into me bragging after I found out the value - with a sticky in place. (Even though many other people posted SIMILAR threads.) On most forums, that would have warranted a verbal warning at most. On sythe, it warrants an immediate infraction.

My second one was obviously joking around. The only other site that actually banned me while I was joking around was RuneScape. (Don't even jokingly say "I will buy your account", otherwise it's an instant perma ban.)

The one I received today was for posting something useless just after the programming mod did the same thing. (I am starting to view the mods here as hypocrites, just as I told badger via PM.)

I have no faith in sythe.org. Sorry.

For things you did do.

And I did give the programming section a bit of activity. That was the only section I was committed to.

I was going to. I just built a website for $1,000 and liked the benefits for donors.

Suggestions aren't meant to be insulting, they are supposed to do exactly what the word means: To mention or introduce (an idea, proposition, plan, etc.) for consideration or possible action. (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/suggest) I found that treating your members like shit no matter what the circumstance is a great way to lose, not attract, members.

 

You post a suggestion that moving a site this big to a free host, and you really think that it will happen? You are a true dumbass, you know?
