They don't get DDOSED as much as Sythe.

 

You can't tell me that no one has DDoS'ed one of 30 servers that InvisionFree/ZetaBoards uses. Total, they host over 3,000,000 forums. Someone at one point must have gotten mad at IF and tried DDoS'ing their servers. I know that the old and great g00ns.net actually rooted their ISP.

I don't know, maybe my logic is faulty...

 

Wow, the great Sythe called me a retard. Makes me wonder why I do stay here..

You know, if it's going to cost you more than you are willing to pay for yourself (nevermind the donations), then why do you even bother? I pay for my hosting because I want to. I don't even get donations through any sites I host, and when I couldn't afford to host on my own server, I went with a free host. Sure they had a few down times that annoyed me, but I never saw an InvisionFree server go down for longer than a few minutes. Comparatively, sythe.org goes down quite frequently for varying amounts of time.

So maybe you should think about switching if you can't afford it or aren't willing to continue paying. It's not the end of the world. (Of course, as I said many times before, you could simply find a better host for cheaper. They DO exist you know.)

At least they don't have they're own section anymore.
