Lol so swine flu is now a pandemic

Just heard it on the news, swine flu (H1N1) is now a pandemic.

Discuss.

The international outbreak of swine flu has now hit the highest level set by World Health Organization (WHO) standards. As reported yesterday, the H1N1 has evolved over the last few days, causing officials to consider elevating the alert status. This morning, WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan officially announced the change in status from level 5 to level 6, saying, “On the basis of available evidence, and these expert assessments of the evidence, the scientific criteria for an influenza pandemic have been met.”

It's been a pandemic for awhile, it just went up a level since it evolved.

No one worry, really ? a kid in my school had it hes perfectly fine nothing is different from the normal flu. the only reason people died is becuase the wernt treated/ Dont worry about it.>_<

Really? I haven't heard anything about Swine Flue for over a week, I thought the hype finally died down. Guess I was wrong.

 

Most of what the media says is a farce intended to get them views. If you've got a shred if intelligence you could probably find out that more people statistically die from normal human influenza than those who have died from H1N1 influenza.

In my opinion, simply don't worry about it. It won't kill you unless you're in dirt poor living conditions, which I doubt any of you are considering you have money enough for internet and so on.
