    So... Is this going to work when your IP is blocked, or are you going to have to proxy to it or ask a friend or something?

    Incidentally, to all those abusing this script:

    If you try to enter, maliciously, any IP address other than one that is legitimately blocked in the firewall, the script will automatically ban you.

    Good work, very nice script.

    I am sure this will help quite a few individuals which becomes IP banned from the other script :)

    It also might actually be a good idea, that considering when their IP banned to add a linking there on that page. So, that when they see it, and use it properly knowing their not banned for a bad reason. To then used the provided link to have them unbanned :p

    It might also be good to have it coded/scripted linking to the bans in the DB, so that if individuals that are banned for a bad reason due to what they done on sythe. That it is automatically denied, apart from the ones not on the bans list, or just there form an script IP ban accidentally. If their in seperate folders..

    The database elements of your proposal are computationally expensive to achieve -- computational capacity we don't have spare. And the linking part is impossible -- if your IP is blocked in the firewall you cannot interact with the server in any way from that IP. That's the entire point. It's there to stop attackers who interact with the server with the intent to slow it down or crash it.

    So you're saying that if you're IP is blocked to have it unblocked you have to use a proxy to get to the page, or have someone do it for you?

    Well that's what I thought, but I thought Sythe had some sort of script that blocked access via most proxys. (Must be RSF I was thinking of.)

    Which is why on ANY note.. It's just best to communicate with an individual which is not banned on Sythe nor IP blocked. Thus allowing you to request to have them to it for you. That way you do not have to deal with a hassle :)

    Well then this script is almost pointless, just about like PMing a mod/admin, just the mod or admin don't have to waste their time going through it.

    Yeah, I didn't think about that. So I guess you could like access the page form a cell phone, PSP, or anything like that to unblock you.
